Skøll is a Dutch student rowing association founded in 1966 and situated in Amsterdam at the Amstel river. Skøll currently has over 900 members, most of which are college or university students. We teach our members to row and give them the opportunity to develop themselves, both socially and in sport. Motivated coach teams lead avid rowers to excellence at the national, international and Olympic level.
Though most of our members are fluent in English, Skøll is a primarily Dutch rowing association. Our website and all communication is in Dutch. We strongly suggest applicants to at least be able to read or understand Dutch.
It is possible to join Skøll during the introduction periods in September and in April. You can apply for an introduction period starting, August 1st or March 1st, online using our application form. Rowing experience is not a requirement (though we do recommend it). A Dutch bank account is required for signing up.
